Bellingham finished with one goal and three assists. Gordon added a goal and an assist and extended a run of a goal or assist in each of his last seven England appearances. Alex Scott impressed on his full debut against 41-year-old Luka Modric, while Tuchel made five changes and restored Jordan Pickford, who smothered an early Ivan Perisic chance.
Quarter-final hopes boosted
The result strengthens England's hold on second place in their Nations League group and their hopes of reaching next year's quarter-finals. Next up, England host Czechia on Tuesday, when Kane can equal Peter Shilton's appearance record.
