The Candor Post is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we acknowledge and correct them with full transparency.
In our pursuit of truth, clarity, and speed, we recognize that errors can occasionally occur. The Candor Post maintains a rigorous standard for factual accuracy; however, should an error be identified, our policy is to correct it promptly across all platforms where the original content appeared.
We distinguish between substantive errors (facts, names, numbers, or framing) and minor typographical errors. Substantive errors are always corrected with an explicit note, while minor spelling or grammar fixes that do not change the meaning may be corrected without a separate notice.
When a substantive correction is made to an article, a "CORRECTION" note is added at the top or bottom of the story. This note will state the date of the correction and a brief explanation of what was changed and why.
For live reporting, corrections are handled in real-time. An update entry containing the error will be marked as "UPDATED WITH CORRECTION" and a new entry will be published to clarify the verified facts.
We rely on our readers to help us maintain the integrity of our reporting. If you believe a piece of content on The Candor Post is inaccurate, please contact our editorial desk immediately.

As a news organization specializing in live coverage, many of our stories are "developing." We distinguish between adding new information as a story unfolds (an Update) and fixing information that was incorrect at the time of publication (a Correction). Updates do not require a correction note unless they are specifically clarifying a previous error.
